M.K. Perker Commission Opportunity at New York Comic Con 2026
M.K. Perker is an Eisner-nominated Turkish/American artist of Air (Vertigo/DC), Co-creator of Todd, the Ugliest Kid on Earth (Image Comics), Cairo (Vertigo/DC), Fairy Godbrothers (Adaptive Books) and Insomnia Café (Dark Horse). He has had runs on Fables (Vertigo/DC) and The Unwritten (Vertigo/DC).
He is a member of the NY Society of Illustrators, and his work has appeared in newspapers and magazines such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New Yorker, Mad Magazine, Heavy Metal, Columbia Journalism Review and The Progressive.
He recently completed a new Graphic Novel, The Stoneshore Register by Dark Horse. He also just worked on a 3 volume graphic novel series Super Science, written by N. Alessandro K and to be published by The Lab and is working on Weekly World News published by Mad Cave.
Perker is accepting pre-show commission signups.
All Pre-commissions will be done in pencils and inks on high end hot press Fabriano 640gr heavy, professional-grade, 100% cotton paper.
9 x 12":
- Head/Bust :$300.
11 x 17":
- 1 Character, Full Figure NO background: $500.
Options for either size of commission:
- Additional Characters are $150 each.
- Detailed Backgrounds are $200.
Commissions at NYCC will be done in pencils and inks on a regular comic book board.
